Adam Moore
D.D.S.
Dr. Adam Moore grew up in the Knightdale area and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. After several internships and shadowing numerous healthcare professionals in college, Dr. Moore decided to pursue a career in dentistry at the UNC School of Dentistry. To provide the best possible care to his future patients, he enhanced his skills by completing a General Dental Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of New Mexico Hospital. At UNM, he trained with some of the top general dentists/specialists in the Southwest.
Dr. Moore’s advanced training allows him to perform a vast range of procedures, such as extractions, implants, root canals, bridges and dentures, as well as pediatric dentistry. Dr. Moore’s vision is to establish the office as a family-oriented practice and provide a broad comprehensive range of dentistry.

Shayla Walker
D.D.S.
Dr. Shayla Walker was born in Layton, Utah. She was grew up in a military family and although she spent most of her life in Utah, she has lived in Colorado Springs, CO and Fayetteville, NC. She graduated from the University of Utah with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Walker then moved to Boston, MA to pursue her dental training where she graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, Dr. Walker was highly involved in community service. She was active in Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Fraternity where she held the presidency position the last two years of dental school. She was also active in the Hispanic Dental Association, American Student Dental Association, Project Bridge and Smile Squad where she was able to provide dental care to both adults and children in the surrounding Boston Community. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Walker moved to Chapel Hill, NC for a 1 year General Practice Residency at UNC where she had the opportunity to perform various procedures such as extractions, restorations, crown and bridge, dentures, root canals and implants.
Dr. Walker worked out in Boone, NC this last year. She missed the RTP area and upon moving back she joined the Wells Family Dental Group. In order to provide the highest quality care, Dr. Walker continuously stays up to date with the latest dental technology by being an active member of Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society and taking various continuing education courses.
Dr. Walker enjoys spending time outdoors, running, trying different types of cuisine, traveling, and photography.

Ellyse Julien-Dalton
D.M.D.
Dr. Ellyse Julien-Dalton, aka Dr. JD, grew up in Apex, NC, and she chose to stay in North Carolina for college and dental school. Although she cherishes the time she spent in Chicago, Dr. JD always knew that she would return to North Carolina to practice dentistry near her hometown.
Dr. JD graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BS in Psychology. During her time at UNC, Dr. JD had the opportunity to shadow several health care professions and discovered her passion for dentistry. Dr. JD received her Doctor of Dental Medicine at ECU School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed a 1-year General Practice Residency at Jesse Brown Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Chicago, IL. During her residency, she received advanced training in prosthodontics, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and hospital dentistry.
When she is not at the office, Dr. JD likes to spend her time searching for the best fries in the Triangle and working off that research on her Peloton. She is also a huge Harry Potter fan, enjoys standup comedy, loves binging reality TV, and cheering on the Tarheels. Dr. JD’s favorite part of dentistry is connecting with patients and she looks forward to helping you reach your oral health goals!

Philip Sherrill
D.M.D.
Dr. Philip Sherrill is a Raleigh native who received his undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He is known for his calm and compassionate patient care and brings over a decade of experience to our practice. Dr. Sherrill has completed extensive continuing education courses in dental implants and has earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). He has also completed the UNC Dental Sleep Medicine Mini Residency and has helped patients improve their sleep quality and overall health using oral appliances.
Dr. Sherrill and his wife have two elementary-aged children. They enjoy spending time at the beach (especially Ocracoke), camping, fishing, hiking, and cheering for the Tar Heels.

Emily Hogdin
D.M.D.
Dr. Emily Hodgin was born in Arkansas but has called North Carolina home for her whole
life. Growing up in Winston Salem, Dr. Hodgin has fond memories of visiting NC beaches and
mountains, and everywhere in between. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology and North Carolina State University with a Masters in
Physiology. Despite attending rival schools, Dr. Hodgin will always be a Tar Heel at heart!
After graduating from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine with a DMD,
her passion for helping patients regain function and confidence by rehabilitating their smiles led
her to further her skills during a 1-year residency at the prestigious Fayetteville VA Medical
Center. Through this residency, Dr. Hodgin was able to gain proficiency in oral surgery,
prosthodontics, implantology, and advanced restorative dentistry. Serving our country’s
veterans was an extremely rewarding experience for her. Dr. Hodgin was recognized as having
provided more clinical care to veterans than any other resident in the history of the program.
In her free time, Dr. Hodgin can be found exploring Raleigh with her fiancé, Joc. Dr.
Hodgin enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, trying local Triangle restaurants, and cycling
classes. She is also an avid runner and baker. To see some of Dr. Hodgin’s confectionary
